'Where Ya Gonna Go?' By Kevin Johnson

The good things we've had here on Planet Earth will be like baby mush compared to the unending feast of heaven. What we've enjoyed of God's creation-music, nature, color, beauty-will be given to us in abundance, with mind-boggling intensity. We can expect incredible surprises, because our dreams now are warped by sin. But be sure of this: Whatever we find in heaven will totally satisfy, as if God were to say, "You think that's good? Try this!"

Even better than the place will be the people. God's friends will live in his peace-no enemies, no popularity contests, no prejudice or jealousy, no ugly names or biting words.

But the real life of this eternal party will be God himself. He'll live with us the way he's wanted to since he created this world-with no doubt, fear, or sin separating us from him. We'll begin to know God as well as he knows us, and celebrate him for giving us an eternity of friendship with himself and his people.

God wants you in heaven. And if God is your friend, there's no better place to be.

"I heard a loud shout from the throne, saying, 'Look, the home of God is now among his people! He will live with them, and they will be his people. God himself will be with them. He will remove all of their sorrows, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. For the old world and its evils are gone forever.'"
