Guess what I saw in the lake today.
I saw clouds that stopped, I think, to pray.
They were so still;
And I continued to look until
I saw some upside down trees !
And, of course, their leaves.
 
Yes, everything was so quiet and still.
What great pictures God paints, what skill!
Then I noticed buildings very tall
Upside down and they didn't mind at all.
 
Many times our life seems upside down.
And things don't look right all around.
God sometimes puts me to the test
To see if I can learn to rest
In Him.
And when I do look for Him in everything.
I find Him there and then I sing.
Praise and Thanks to Him can abound
In me even when I'm upside down.
